A little roastery with a big heart
Roasting and pouring in West Asheville since 2015.
Ember & Oak started with a tiny roaster, a big idea, and a conviction that Asheville deserved coffee roasted with real care, in a space that actually feels good to be in.
So we roast small, bake fresh every morning, and pour every shot like it matters, because it does. No corporate playbook, no stale bulk beans, just honest coffee and a genuinely warm welcome.
Years and a whole lot of cups later, we're proud to be a little anchor of the neighborhood. Pull up a stool, we saved you a seat (and probably a croissant).
Roasted with care
We roast in small batches in-house so every bag is fresh and every cup tastes the way the farmer intended. No shortcuts, no stale beans.
Sourced the right way
We buy ethically and build real relationships with growers, paying fair prices for coffee we're proud to pour.
Zero coffee snobbery
Order a fancy pour-over or a big sweet latte, no judgment here. Good coffee is for everyone, however you take it.
A neighborhood room
We know our regulars by name and their orders by heart. Come in, stay a while, and make yourself at home.
